AQUARIUS Citadel Azur

Aquarius Citadel Azur is the first Aquarius Center in Sahl Hasheesh. This is our most uniquely constructed center, as like the hotel, the whole resort was built using the rocks and dead corals of the local area. It is an amazing location and the hotel itself is a work of art.

The center has been open since June 2008 and offers an outstanding housereef which means that we can also offer 1 dive specials, giving you more time to spend with your non diving family or friends. We offer many daily diving packages so you can choose to be in the water as often as you like and of course the usual extras like Wreck and Night dives too.

Aquarius Diving Club in Sahl Hasheesh is situated 20 kilometers south of Hurghada International Airport, between Hurghada and Safaga.

At Aquarius Citadel we have a wealth of facilities to offer our guests, for diver training we offer two fully equipped air conditioned classrooms both with a TV and DVD, Work desks and large whiteboards for your instructor (and yourselves) to work through examples and explanations. Each room is well ventilated and spacious to ensure your comfort in our warm climate.

For your confined open water training sessions we have a swimming pool and a well protected lagoon.

Our equipment room carries a wide range of branded equipment for hire and we have a servicing workshop for our own equipment maintenance and repair and to assist our clients with their own gear if needed. Rinse tubs and hygiene wash tanks are available for your use.

We have our own marina and our boats depart from the doorstep of the dive center  !

.At Citadel Azur Resort we have ample room for lounging around between dives or course sessions with the beach and sea on our doorstep. On the beach we have a bar for soft drinks, snacks and after last diving of the day you can get beers to cool you down.

At Aquarius Citadel  we have a fully equipped Aqua Center which gives you access to a wide range of activities, we can arrange speed boat trips, parasailing, banana boat, water skiing etc. just ask our staff for details.

We can also organize a private boat rental with your own personal snorkel guide which allows you and your family or friends to create your own special day on the waves or join one of our pre-arranged snorkel trips to some of the best reefs in the area.

The hotel also offers a full animation program and kids club for more shore based activities.
